Black Tea

Single Source Premium Tea

Full to Light Body

English Breakfast – An ancient pedigree from China (100% Keemun), with heritage back to the black tea that the English drank in the 1800’s.      

Irish Breakfast -   100% Assam, like most traditional Irish blends. This is a good way to start your morning, usually with milk. 

Lapsang Souchong – An ancient and much loved tea from China. Large leaves are dried over smoldering pine fires. The tea develops a distinctive smoky flavor.

Assam CTC – Striking amber color, rich malted flavor and full bodied from the Assam region of India.  An “espresso style” tea.  Coffee alternative without the jitters. 

Burning Sun -This tea is a perfect and rare blend of strength and complexity, multiple dark fruit notes, a clarity and brightness, and a lingering finish with a hint of briskness.  

Ajiri CTC - This tea from small farms in Kisii, Kenya is remarkably fresh, bold, and flavorful. Coppery in appearance, rich in body, and deeply pungent with a distinct flavor.  

Wild Grusinia - From 18th century wild grown tea shrubs in Georgia. The lead structure is wiry tips and it develops a sweet scent with a medium brew.

Mao Feng - Large, golden, wiry twisted leaves with a sweet, dark aroma produce a thick, velvety and naturally sweet liquor.

Grand Keemun - This black tea from China steeps up dark, rich luxuriant, smooth, slightly sweet, toasty. It is a completely satisfying experience. Keemun is often compared to Burgundy wines.

Darjeeling First Flush -  Grown high in the foothills of the Himalayas on the famous Bio-dynamic Makaibari Estate, this First Flush has pronounced greenness and strong character yet it is delicate as you would expect a Darjeeling.

Temi Sikkim Darjeeling - Sikkim is just north of Darjeeling in India. A mid-year tea resulting in a dark brew with honey notes. 

Darjeeling Second Flush - Grown high in the foothills of the Himalayas, this delicate Darjeeling reveals green notes and brisk character. BioD

Everest First Flush – This Nepali artisan tea has a pale, pure liquor with distinct notes of lilac.  A smooth tea with spring astringency. 

Spring Tippy Black - The first buds and leaves are naturally oxidized and then wood-fired. The result is a lovely, light honey infusion with spring astringency. Spring vegetables, melon and persimmon.

Complex with Notes of Honey

Kalo Chiya - Unique to Jasbirey, this tea is carefully hand-rolled. The character is “strength and energy” followed by a lasting gentle finish. Rich caramel and nutty flavor.

Yunnan Gold - Exquisite black tea from the cherished Ancient Tree Tea plantation in Yunnan province. 6,000' above sea level, growing wild and naturally. Complex and finishing with cocoa notes.

Golden Monkey - From China's Fujian province. Large black leaves with golden tips woven in produces a nicely complex tea with honey tones. 

Golden Mao Feng - Large, golden, wiry, twisted leaves with a sweet, dark aroma produce a thick, velvety and naturally sweet liquor. 

Organic Assam – Rich with sweet honey tones, a smattering of golden tips combined with the lighter, organic Assam black leaves. 

Himalayan Golden Award winning, signature Nepali tea is a rich, mellow cup with a smooth buttery finish.  

Vietnamese Golden Tippy Light and smooth, full bodied and aromatic. Slightly floral with hints of caramel.


Black Blended Tea

Premium Teas with additional fruits or flowers

Hot Cinnamon Spice – An assertive blend of black teas, three types of cinnamon, orange peel and sweet cloves. No sugar and Kosher.

Earl Grey Supreme – Highest grade of Chinese black tea with the addition of Silver Tips and extra bergamot. Lovely citrus aromas.

Paris – Fruity black tea with hint of organic vanilla, caramel and lemony Bergamot.

Apricot – An elegant tea with the warm, nutty flavor of apricot predominating.

SoHo Blend – Combines black tea with chocolate, coconut and vanilla with a dash of amaranth petals.  Coffee drinkers love the fullness of this tea. 

Black Currant - Harney's first flavored tea is a "big" berry, full-bodied tea.  China black base tea is blended with currants.   

Ajiri Black with Mango, Ginger, or Lemon - These teas from small farms in Kisii, Kenya are remarkably fresh, bold, and flavorful. Rich in body and deeply pungent black tea flavor. 

Green Mountain Flower-  A calming blend of black tea, green tea, and jasmine blossoms.

Masala Chai – Assam & Darjeeling, ginger root, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, black pepper, cinnamon.

Marquis Grey – Classic Earl Grey blended with lavender flowers – a delicate distinction.

Sheng Puer Supreme (2007) – Classic, crisp, full-bodied, earthy.  

Golden Tip Shou Puer – Smooth, delicious, earthy, distinct aroma. Great introduction to puer!  

Yunnan Shou Puer – Ancient trees produce a strong, spicy and earthy taste. 

Puer Tuo Cha Shou (2011) – Individual nests of Puer.  Earthy, almost musty flavor.  

Royal Shou (2014) – Soft, earthy, luxuriant, exceptional, fresh aroma, sweet notes. 

Dark Rose - Pressed dark tea. Med/full-body, smooth, delicious dusty rose flavor and aroma.         


Runa Guayusa

The Ecuadoran alternative to Yerba Mate – from the Amazon rainforest – very smooth!

RUNA – Traditional Ecuadoran high energy beverage contains high caffeine and antioxidants.  Five Options – Traditional (most caffeine), Peppermint, Ginger Citrus, Hibiscus Berry, Cinnamon Lemongrass                


OOlong

Premium Tea withered under the hot sun, oolong tea is less oxidized (8-85%) than Black Tea (85-100%).  Its flavor ranges from roasted to floral.  

Roasty Flavored Oolongs

Wild Yeti – This rare tea from several farms in Sandakphu, Nepal has been oxidized longer than many Oolongs, producing a deep caramel color and taste.  A rich, complex, full-bodied oolong unique to the Nepali Tea Traders Collective.   

Big Red Robe – One of the most famous Rock Teas of Fujian Province, this tea starts floral and deepens to fruity sweetness which lingers.  Be sure to have several cups!  

Ruby Handrolled – This Nepali tea has character of strength, vitality and a lasting, yet smooth finish.  Dark red amber color with caramel/roasted malt flavor.  

Darjeeling Autumn Oolong - This specialty tea is made in very small batches. It is manufactured with extreme care in a process similar to a White Tea.  The lightest of the roasty oolongs with lasting flavor and many steeps.  

Floral Green Flavored Oolongs

Jade Oolong:  This is the classic Taiwanese oolong: wonderfully aromatic, very smooth, silky, slightly sweet, and floral. Made from the Jin Suang cultivar in a Tung-Ting style. 

Milk Oolong - This famous Taiwan tea delivers a cup that is sweet, fresh, slightly floral, with light creamy notes, from the Jin Suang cultivar.  

Tung Ting - Taiwanese semi-balled oolong made in a signature fire baking regimen that requires multiple days of processing. An arduous job that brings out the complex layers of floral and fruity notes.

Iron Goddess, Ti Quan Yin - This curled and medium oxidation oolong from the Fujian Province produces lovely, fragrant, amber liquor.  Tender, peachy notes intermingle with nutty overtones.

Spring Oolong, Si Jie Chun  - This lightly oxidized oolong from the Song Bo region in Nantou Taiwan is produced year round. The unique blossom like fragrance is reminiscent of lilac and orchid with the taste of honey and pineapple to finish.

Pouchong - Very lightly oxidized tea that is between Green and Oolong. Mildly sweet and very cool in the throat.

Blended Oolong

Rhubarb Oolong – Lovely oolong from the Fujian province blended with rose petals and rhubarb pieces to produce a sweet, smooth and medium-bodied tea.


Green tea

Premium Tea leaves processed soon after picking to avoid withering.  High in Anti-oxidants and flavonoids.

Sencha Fukamushi – Signature Sen Cha from Sugimoto Tea Estate in Japan. Fukamushi refers to the longer steaming process. This tea is very popular for its perfect balance of sweet and bitter. 

Sencha Asamushi - (lightly steamed) Lighter, more vegetal flavor. It has a stronger initial bite, with a brisk finish. Aromatic and maintains the sweetness aroma and taste.

Sencha Asatsuyu - (medium steamed) Particularly aromatic and flavorful, harvested from the first round of young 100% Asatsuyu clone spring leaves.

Kanaya Midori - (medium steamed) Light green color and a satisfying balanced taste between umami, light bitterness and citrus with light astringency. Grown in black volcanic soil, has a sweet aroma like milk or fresh bread with a hint of citrus.

Sencha Asanoka - (deep steamed) Unique fragrance reminiscent of Thai basil and honeysuckle flowers with a hint of brine. This tea’s name means “morning aroma.”

Hachiju Hachiya Shincha (88 nights) - (deep steamed) The name comes from the ancient wisdom that says the best tea is plucked after 88 nights have passed on the lunar calendar. Represents an early part of the first harvest and has a more vibrant spring green aroma and a flavor that is much more true to the inherent flavor of the leaf.

Kuki Cha - Kuki Cha is made of young twigs that are separated during Sen Cha refining process, and which have natural sweetness. This tea is loved by many tea drinkers in Japan because of its unique sweet, almost nutty flavor.

Gyocuro - With its light green color and profound flavor, this shaded, first flush, green tea is considered one of the finest green teas in Japan with a unique sweetness. The tea retains a high Theanine content. Steeped in a clay pot (3-4 re-steeps)

Lung Ching – Made around Hangzhou City, China, early in the Spring. The small green leaves make a brew that has a mild and sweet, almost nut-like flavor. 

Emerald Green - The first buds and leaves of the spring season in Nepal are selected for this mild, refreshing green tea. It has a flowery aroma and sweet, vegetal flavor. 

Organic Matcha – Matcha is a Japanese tea that is shade grown for the last 3 weeks before harvest. This slows down growth, stimulates an increase in chlorophyll levels, turns the leaves a darker shade of green and causes the production of amino acids, in particular Theanine.   (Cup only)

Nepali Pokhara Classic – Nepali flagship green with springtime aroma and a fresh clean finish with full vegetal character. 

Chun Mee - The leaves are tightly rolled to form a curved "eyebrow" shape. Full bodied, light, lingering sweetness and refreshing astringency.

Gunpowder Green - Made in the pearl tradition, hand-rolled into tiny pellets that unfurl into long green banners. Mildly smokey tea with a fresh, clean palate.


Green Tea Blends

Premium teas dried or processed with fruits or flowers.

Dragon Pearl Jasmine – Masterpiece from Fuan, China, beautiful hand-rolled pearls are gently infused with floral essences from jasmine flowers. 

Jasmine Yin Hao (Silver Tip) - Green Tea tips layered with Jasmine producing a delicate sweetness and powerful fragrance in the cup. 

Tropical Green – A Bancha tea blended with pineapple flavor give this tea an exotic taste.  A fresh twist on green tea.  

Citron Green – Delicate citrus flavor and beautiful orange flowers provide a gentle introduction to the world of green teas.

Genmai Cha - An aromatic, rich blend of tea leaves and roasted rice creates a unique, nutty fragrance.  Delightfully flavorful!  

Green Earl Grey – Japanese Sencha with high quality bergamot, decorated with lemon peel and orange blossoms.

Raspberry/Orange Green Tea– Green tea, raspberry, hibiscus, rose hips, apple, blackberry leaves, orange peel.

Sweet Ginger Green – Chinese Sencha, ginger, lemon, lemongrass and honey. 

Green Mountain Tulsi Tea - Tulsi, lemon balm, green tea from Zack Woods Herb Farm.


White Tea

The leaves and buds are allowed to wither in natural sunlight and then lightly processed to prevent oxidation.

Ama Dablam – Leaves and buds are dried naturally and cured for more than a month. A pale green liquor, mild floral aroma and a sweet finish.  From Nepal.

Spring White Buds - This unique, artisan tea is a silver leaf and a bud that is quickly oxidized. The first sip of the lovely straw infusion reveals a delicate balance of stone fruit, asparagus and sweet grass. The finish is smooth and buttery.

Jade Spring White - Select first buds and leaves are plucked and immediately processed. A mild balance of peas, asparagus, sweet grass and mint.

Dhulagiri – Gently hand-rolled, sweet, crispy Nepali white tea with lovely floral aroma.  Named after “dazzling, white beautiful mountain!”    

Mutan White - A mix of silver-green long tips (or buds) and forest green leaves. 

Wedding Blend – Mutan White tea with a touch of lemon, vanilla, pink rosebuds and petals.

African Autumn – Delicious marriage of Rooibos (South Africa), cranberry and oranges. Many healthy and soothing qualities.  

Red Chai – Rooibos and Honeybush, hot and spicy flavors, exotic, no caffeine! Includes ginger, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves.  

Ajiri Red Rooibos–Naturally high in antioxidants, it has a smooth, deep, earthy flavor with a distinctive sweet aroma. 

Honeybush -  Organic and Sustainably Harvested, Caffeine Free.  High in anti-oxidants, essential minerals and polyphenols.  

Ayurvedic Yoga Blend – Classic Masala Chai-like, vitalizing herbal drink with Cinnamon, ginger, cloves, stinging nettle, white peppercorns, cardamom.

Rose Hips – The rose hip peel is dried in wood-burning stoves and is a delicious and thirst quenching infusion. 

Tilleul (Linden) - This tisane has large tilleul (linden tree) leaves and flowers. Light body and a very clean, clear, light green liquor.
