Every Saturday Night, eat great pasta and support a local non-profit!
From 5:30-8:30 we'll be serving up fresh pasta and sauce from Alla Vita, along with everything on our regular menu. A portion of the evening's proceeds will go to that week's non-profit.
The Washington County Youth Service Bureau/Boys & Girls Club is a private, non-profit organization that has assisted young people and families since 1974. They offer a variety of services including: youth & family counseling; a program for runaway youth; a transitional living program for homeless youth; an adolescent substance abuse treatment program; teen parent services; a transitional living program for young men returning from jail; a peer outreach program; two teen centers; a community prevention partnership; a transition program for youth exiting foster care; and a 24 hour crisis service. The Bureau also operates 4 statewide youth-focused initiatives.
The Bureau is supported by private, local, state, and federal grants, Medicaid and other insurance, donations, and fundraising. Most of our services are free. For those requiring payment, some private insurances and Medicaid are accepted, and offer a sliding fee scale. No one is turned away because they cannot pay.
