Liminal Spaces by Becky Parker
Becky Parker creates motion paintings compelled by the “in between” spaces, the liminal spaces, that we all experience in times of transition. She expresses these fleeting moments by painting from blurry photographs and from the imagination with many thin layers of oil paint giving an ephemeral quality to much of her work.
Becky Parker (b. 1988) is an artist living in Montpelier, Vermont. She trained at Wellesley College receiving her BA in Psychology and Studio Art in 2010.
